Mumbida Wind Farm

Mumbida Wind Farm is a recently completed project. It was built by joint venture partners Synergy and Energy Infrastructure Trust (EIT).

Mumbida Wind Farm has a capacity of 55MW, enough to power about 35,000 average homes and displace 165,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.

It is Synergy's biggest wind farm, surpassing Albany, Esperance and Kalbarri wind farms in capacity.

Mumbida Wind Farm was commissioned in May 2013. It is  situated near Geraldton in the mid west of Western Australia.
